Meet Tom
Owner
Tom started McCormick Electrical Services in June 1999 after several years working for one of the area's largest electrical contractors. After graduating from John Glenn High School, he joined the Union and began his career as an Electrician. As a big believer in continued development, Tom has completed various training courses, including Success Group International’s Technician Training, UTA Technician Training, Generac & Kohler Generator Training courses, and Nexstar Service System Training.
As a second-generation firefighter, he has been a Volunteer firefighter serving the North Liberty Community for over 35 years. Growing up on a farm, it’s no surprise that he enjoys raising cattle and is an avid tractor collector. You’ll find him tinkering in his workshop and doing projects around the farm in his spare time. Excellence In Customer Service
I have used McCormick Electrical Services in the past for various things needing attention. Most recently, they installed a whole house generator for me and signed me up for their warranty and maintenance program. It is rare that I am able to do business with an outfit that actually delivers on what they say. McCormick Electrical Services delivers exactly what they say. Not only do they deliver, but they make it maintenance free for me. I don't have to do anything for maintenance. They give me a call or text and send me the name and a "picture" of the technician that will be arriving to perform the maintenance. I like that they are thinking about security and that they are transparent in providing that level of comfort for their customer. This company has provided a professional experience every time, and I consider them providing the best customer service that I have ever had from any business.

We had a flood a couple of years ago and McCormick Electrical Services came out and totally redid the wiring for our electrical systems. They moved everything up higher in the basement to ensure that if we flooded again, it hopefully wouldn't reach the electrical boxes. For that reason and their ability to get us scheduled quickly, we had them back out due to the garage lights not coming on. As before they were polite, quick to solve the problem and what really impressed me was that they remembered us from the previous visit even though it had been a couple of years.
